I bought a Nikon D60 with 18-135mm AFS DX Nikkor lens from J&R for $500. Hopefully it will be here soon.I get to buy it because I finished the deck. We still have to plant stuff around the deck and stain the wood on the sides, but it is mostly done.

Basically what it looked like when we started, a few boards are up though.

At the end of day one, we had put wood around the edges and had three planks down in the middle, although it doesn't look like a lot we started working at around 8:30.

At the end of day two we had finished the first row of boards, but I forgot to take a photo. Imagine the ones coming off the patio are not there to see the end of day two.

You don't see the posts that were put there on day two, but you can see the big cross support beam. Digging holes in clay isn't fun.

The 2x6 beams need support right after they get off the porch because about 2" of the beam are cut off while it is on the porch. This means we get to dig a trench.

Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll has some good anime, but some of it is more than I can handle. I can handle nudity and even sex to an extent, but I can't handle panty shots or other sexual things of little kids, urination, rape, general underage innuendo, molestation / overly vulnerable girls, and so on.

The Parade was fairly average, fowled by the usual golf cart traffic jams. I tried taking some Pictures of the fireworks, but they didn't turn out that well with my cheap camera.

While it looks fairly good on its own,

it is clearly too big when you put it on.

I doubt I will make another one because it is a lot of work, but I had fun.

Someday...

Someday, I'll be in an arcade playing Packman on a vintage console, and then me wife will make me get off VR so we can have dinner with her parents.
Ok, so I'll probably never find a wife, but the rest could totally happen.
